Agricoltura e Benessere is an all-women company.
Paola, Daniela, Emanuela, Sabrina, Raffaella, and Simona Grossi are the main characters behind this company, which was established in 2012. The project was born from the revitalization of the old “Cava Grossi”.
Six women decided to bring to life an innovative olive-growing company, planting new olive groves in addition to those already existing near the quarry. This was the beginning of the phases of growth. The olives are naturally protected from pests by the very dust of the stones, which come from the quarry still operated by the Grossi family. The limestone dust from the quarry naturally protects the olives, eliminating the need for harmful chemical treatments that can compromise the quality of the final product.
Their cultivation techniques, meticulous care during harvesting, and precise oil extraction methods ensure an exceptionally high-quality product.
The oil is produced in southern Lazio, in the municipality of Pico, within the Monti Aurunci park, which is a small medieval gem that has recently been included among the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy”.
History tells us that the so-called "Oil Road" once passed through here, connecting Arpino, the city of Cicero, to the port of Gaeta. The landscape itself reflects this important trade route, characterized by groves of ancient olive trees.
The main olive varieties cultivated are: Itrana, Leccino, and Frantoio.
A love for their oil drove these women to create a new line of olive oil-based confectionery products. From Panettone to a variety of dry pastries and even refined pralines, their creations blend tradition with innovation.
Using their olive oil, the enterprising Simona developed a line of skincare products under the Agricoltura e Benessere brand. Understanding the organoleptic properties of their oil, she created products that align with the company’s commitment to natural, high-quality solutions.
This story is a testament to their dedication to innovation and sustainability in agriculture.

The Oil of the Quarry is born within the former family quarry, where limestone dust creates a natural protection on the olive drupes, keeping away the most feared pest: the Bactrocera. This unique condition gives our product unparalleled organoleptic qualities.
A production process, featuring olive varieties such as Itrana, Leccino, and Frantoio,
delivers a product particularly suited for natural tasting, while also imparting a clear and bold character to dishes.
In addition to the Oil of the Quarry, Agricoltura e Benessere also produces Trullo Oil, a precious treasure from its plantations in Puglia.

Cosmetics
Olive oil-based cosmetics are a cornerstone of traditional beauty culture. Since ancient times, extra virgin olive oil has been considered, above all, an elixir of beauty. Thanks to its antioxidant properties, it is still recognized today as the best among vegetable oils for its cosmetic benefits.
The line includes two body oils (nourishing and shimmering), a two-phase facial cleanser, anti-cellulite oil, facial oil, beard oil for men, and two day and night face creams. The products are cruelty-free and free from silicones, petrolatum, paraffins, mineral oils, parabens, lanolin, and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives.
